"If your pictures aren't good enough, you aren't close enough. "  --Robert Capa, War Photographer

Nothing in my life has been more rewarding, moving, or awe-inspiring than covering soldiers, sailors, and airmen serving in harm's way.  Click on any of the thumbnails below to watch short clips of my military reporting:

French Fries & Freedom Toast

In this 2010 film, Michael tackles the rampant French-bashing so popular in the American media today.  Starting with the incalculable support French forces gave the US military during the American Revolution, Michael takes viewers on a globe-trotting romp from various points in Afghanistan to naval vessels at sea, exploring the surprising ways French and American troops still work side-by-side today.
