Savannah Chamber of Commerce Penny Sales Tax Video

Cosmos Mariner Productions created this video in October 2012 for the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce , as part of their effort to raise awareness of the upcoming Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST). Chatham County, GA voters subsequently approved the renewal of the tax, which funds capital projects such as roads, schools, libraries, drainage, street improvements, and arenas.

Connect Savannah Best of 2013

Cosmos Mariner created this fast-moving, fun video for the annual Connect Savannah "Best of Savannah" party in 2013. It features Savannah business owners, journalists, community activists, and others describing what makes Savannah such a unique place to live and work. Connect Savannah is the city's alternative weekly news magazine.

You've Gotta Come to Savannah!

This short video from Cosmos Mariner Productions beat out dozens of other entries to win a 2012 competition for the best video enticing people to visit Savannah, GA. It features more than 70 people, including celebrities like Food Network star Jamie Dean, as well as local notables like the Mayor of Savannah.

Georgia Work Ready

This video from Cosmos Mariner promotes the benefits of a program called Georgia Work Ready, which gives people the skills the need to enter the workforce. The video was commissioned by Savannah Technical College.

Coastal Empire Plastic Surgery- Radiesse

Cosmos Mariner Productions works frequently with DSL Creative Group to create videos for the physicians at Coastal Empire Plastic Surgery in Savannah. This video shows Dr. Meghan McGovern administering a treatment of a non-invasive facial filler called Radiesse to a patient.

Visit Savannah Video

In summer 2013, Visit Savannah (our local Convention & Visitors Bureau) asked Cosmos Mariner Productions to create a video telling the story of tourism in Savannah. This video now plays every day in the main Savannah Visitors Center, and is used by Visit Savannah staffers when they give presentations in the community.

Savannah Tall Ships Challenge

In May 2012, more than a dozen tall sailing ships converged on Savannah, GA for the Tall Ships Challenge, attracting thousands of visitors. Cosmos Mariner Productions was commissioned by the Visit Savannah (the local Convention & Visitors Bureau) to chronicle this event from the water, the riverfront, and the air.

Matthew Freeman Project: Pens & Paper for Peace

This short promotional video describes the heart-warming efforts of the Matthew Freeman Project to help school children in war-torn Afghanistan. The project recruits American troops to deliver pencils, paper, and other school supplies directly to children in the villages where the soldiers are based. The idea came from Capt. Matthew Freeman, a local US Marine who was killed in combat in Afghanistan in 2009.

We Are Laney Walker/Bethlehem

A once-blighted historic neighborhood in Augusta, GA is undergoing a remarkable turn-around, thanks to an outside-the-box approach by city leaders and their urban planning and development partners. This sometimes quirky, sometimes serious video chronicles the work and takes a look at what's ahead. The video was commissioned by Melaver McIntosh .

This spot garnered a 2013 Bronze Telly Award for Use of Humor in a local TV commercial.
